First, check whether the antifreeze is expired and needs to be replaced. Many excavator owners understand that antifreeze can prevent the coolant from freezing and cracking the radiator and freezing the engine cylinder block or cover when it is stopped in the cold winter. Replace it in winter! But we have to correct a misunderstanding, antifreeze is not only used in winter, it should be used throughout the year.
Antifreeze has two characteristics: low freezing point and high boiling point. Therefore, it can not only ensure the normal operation of the vehicle cooling system in winter, but also prevent the cooling water from boiling in summer and avoid the “pot boiling” situation.
In addition, antifreeze usually also has anti-rust and anti-corrosion effects. Because in the cooling system, there are metallic materials and non-metallic materials, and the anti-rust and anti-corrosion characteristics of antifreeze can slow down the aging of the entire cooling system.
In addition, scale will often be generated in the cooling system, and scale will cause blockage of the circulation pipe, which will affect the engine. Antifreeze has the function of preventing scale, thereby reducing this hidden danger. Of course, genuine antifreeze can be used for 2000 hours, while ordinary antifreeze can only be used for 1000 hours. Different brands of antifreeze are different, so don’t mix them.
Secondly, check whether the water tank, hydraulic oil radiator and air conditioner condenser are blocked. After the excavators in autumn, winter, and spring, these places are easy to accumulate some dead branches and leaves, or the absorption of catkins and fluff.
These things hinder the heat dissipation effect of the water tank, hydraulic oil radiator and air conditioner condenser. It is easy to cause engine high temperature, high temperature deterioration of hydraulic oil, and poor air conditioning. In addition, the cover plates and sponges at the water tanks and radiators of some excavators are damaged or fall off, causing abnormal fan suction (as shown in the figure), resulting in poor heat dissipation from the water tank, hydraulic oil radiator and air conditioning condenser.
In order to ensure the normal use of the excavator, it is necessary to always pay attention to the number of divisions of the water temperature gauge. When reaching a certain level, measures must be taken. You can choose to park in the nearby shade and cool down at idle speed. Cylinder and other accidents. After the temperature drops, in addition to checking whether the antifreeze is lacking, the tension and fatigue of the fan belt should also be checked.
Third, the selection of grease should be appropriate. In summer, the ambient temperature is high, and the working temperature of the excavator will be higher. The temperature has a great influence on the fluidity of the grease.
As the temperature rises, the grease becomes soft, which reduces the adhesion performance of the grease and is easy to lose, causing the working device and The lubrication performance of the rotary device is reduced. In addition, under higher temperature conditions, it is easy to increase the evaporation loss of grease, and the phenomenon of oxidative deterioration and condensed oil separation is serious.
The main reasons for grease failure are mostly due to the shrinkage of the gel and the evaporation loss of the base oil. Grease with good high temperature performance can maintain its adhesion performance at higher use temperature, and its deterioration and failure process is also slow. Note: Never use grease that looks like flour.
Fourth, when the wheeled excavator is driving in summer, it is easy to cause the tires to overheat and increase the air pressure, which promotes the decrease of the physical properties of the tire rubber and causes a puncture.
If the tire pressure and tire temperature are too high, stop the car in a cool place to cool down before continuing driving. Frequently check the braking efficiency of the whole machine in order to find and eliminate the faults in the braking system as soon as possible and reduce the hidden dangers of accidents.
Using the brake for long-term operation will cause the temperature of the brake hub and brake pads to be too high, and the braking performance will decrease. You should stop and cool down immediately to avoid adversely affecting the safety of the whole machine. However, it is never allowed to use cold water to pour tires and flush brakes to force the temperature down.
Fifth, for wading operations, do not let the water exceed the center of the upper support wheel. If water flows over the large rotating gear ring, pay attention to timely replacement of the grease in the gear ring (if the sand is mixed in the grease, it will easily increase the wear of the gear and the ring gear).
When working in water, do not make the excavator incline more than 15° (to avoid the superstructure intruding into the water and damage the radiator fan). The track tensioning cylinder should also be tightened frequently (remove the silt on the cylinder, and there is a lot of rain in summer to prevent the cylinder from rusting).
After a day of work, the excavator should be operated at low throttle for a few minutes, and the standby temperature should drop before turning off. In summer during the busy farming season, the excavator should be parked for a long time and the fuel tank should be filled with diesel to avoid rusting of the fuel tank. When parking, remove the battery, place the battery in a dry and moisture-proof place, and keep its surface clean and dry. When cleaning the excavator, do not sprinkle water directly on the electrical components. If water enters, the electrical components will fail or malfunction.
